Anti-Spam Policy

Last updated: August 2026

1. Our Commitment

Invictus CRM is designed to help advisors comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) when communicating with their own clients and leads. This policy explains how consent, identification, and unsubscribe mechanisms work across the platform.

2. Consent

Advisors using Invictus CRM are responsible for having appropriate consent (express or implied, as defined under CASL) before sending commercial electronic messages — such as newsletters or marketing emails — to any client or lead. Invictus CRM does not generate leads or send unsolicited marketing on an advisor's behalf; every message is manually initiated by the advisor to a person already in their own client/lead records.

3. Identification

Every email sent through the platform identifies the sending advisor's name and agency, and includes the agency's contact information, in accordance with CASL's identification requirements.

4. Unsubscribe Mechanism

Newsletter-type emails sent through Invictus CRM include a working unsubscribe link. Once a recipient unsubscribes, our system automatically excludes them from future newsletter sends, and this preference is tracked per-recipient going forward.

Transactional messages that a client would reasonably expect as part of an existing relationship — such as a document signing request, a policy renewal reminder, or a reply to a message they sent — are not subject to the same unsubscribe requirement under CASL, but recipients can always contact their advisor directly to adjust their communication preferences.

5. Reporting Concerns

If you believe you've received an email through Invictus CRM that doesn't comply with CASL, please contact support@invictuscrm.com with details, and we will investigate.

You may also file a complaint directly with the Spam Reporting Centre operated by the Government of Canada.
